The World-Herald has won seven Society for News Design Awards of Excellence.
That is an OWH-record showing in the contest, which had more than 10,200 entries from 39 countries that were judged Feb. 4-6 in Syracuse, N.Y. The 717 winners hailed from 29 nations. The spread of awards is wide; with seven awards, The World-Herald finished in a tie for 25th in the world.
Several pieces of exceptional work helped The W-H win in multiple categories.
